Yudono River at Shirahata Bridge, Hachioji Live Cam

This camera watches the Yudono River at Shirahata Bridge in Kunugida, Hachioji, where a narrow channel runs between concrete walls. An asphalt path with a green mesh fence follows the near bank, and a grassy slope leads down to the water.

Kunugida lies in the south-western part of Hachioji. Kunugida Sports Ground, with tennis courts and a baseball field, is about 200 m from the camera, and Tochiyato Park is roughly 350 m away. The Yudono River is a tributary of the Asakawa.

The channel recedes toward the upper left, with reeds and shrubs growing along the low concrete edge at the foot of the near slope. On the far bank a tall plain concrete wall rises beside a grass slope, and a white house stands above it. The still water mirrors the pale walls, so the level is easy to judge against the concrete.
