Sakai River at Horai Bridge, Machida Live Cam

This camera overlooks the Sakai River under Horai Bridge in Oyamacho, Machida, where a narrow stream tumbles over a bed of concrete blocks. A road bridge with a white railing crosses the upper left, with steep grassy banks on both sides and a roadside fence beyond the trees on the right.

The station is in Oyamacho, in the upper reaches of the Sakai River, which rises on Mt. Kusatoyama in Machida. The Tabata Fureai Hiroba open space is about 100 m to the west, and Oyamada Tabata Nature Park lies about 500 m to the north. The bridge links Machida with Sagamihara.

The camera looks down from the bank beside a small equipment cabinet, so the shallow stream, its riffles and the round blocks in the bed fill the lower half of the frame. The channel is much narrower than farther downstream.
