Weather and time
This camera looks across the Shiroyama River at Inari Bridge in Hachioji, Tokyo, at a stepped bank and a shallow channel. Rows of concrete blocks climb the far side to a rough stone wall and a long metal fence, and a striped water-level staff stands at the left edge.
The station is in Moto-Hachioji-machi 2-chome. The Chuo Expressway runs about 200 m away, Dewayama Park lies about 250 m off, and Nagafusa Junior High School stands about 300 m away. The Shiroyama River is a tributary of the Asakawa River.
The channel at the foot of the wall is narrow, with a strip of grass along the waterline and a clump of tall grass in the foreground. The stepped block face is dotted with small plants, so the water level is easy to judge against the staff and the lines of the wall.
