Yamairi River at Kamiya Bridge, Hachioji Live Cam

This camera looks across the Yamairi River at Kamiya Bridge in Hachioji, Tokyo, towards a road bridge with white girders. The wide riverbed is covered with grey gravel and patches of grass.

The station is in Nishiterakata in the Motoki area, in the hills west of central Hachioji. Kamiya Minami Park and a nursery school are within about 200 m, and Motoki Elementary School stands a short walk away. The Yamairi River belongs to the Asakawa River system of Hachioji.

The view is fixed and shows the bridge from the stony bed, with a bare branch hanging in front of the girders and a green slope rising on the right. The broad gravel bed shows how much space the river takes when it carries more water, and it looks dry at low flow.
