Marine Park, Omaezaki Live Cam

Marine Park is a seaside recreation area in Omaezaki, a city at the southern tip of Shizuoka Prefecture where Suruga Bay meets the Pacific. Its beach is a man-made cove closed off by a breakwater, so the water inside is calmer than the surf outside, and swimming is open only in summer. Omaezaki Lighthouse stands just over a kilometer to the south.

The horizon sits near the middle of the frame, which gives sunrise over the water plenty of room, and at dawn an orange glow spreads along it. By day the sea turns deep blue, and a wooded hill closes the view on the right.
