Hirai River at Ozaki Bridge, Akiruno Live Cam

This camera looks along the Hirai River at Ozaki Bridge in Sugao, Akiruno, Tokyo, over a narrow stream between grassy banks. A low bridge crosses the river ahead, with a stone-faced levee and a flight of steps on the left bank.

Sugao is a district of Akiruno in western Tokyo. The Sedooka burial mounds, a group of ancient tombs, lie about 250 m away, and the temple Hozoji and Sugao Community Hall are a short walk from the camera. Downstream the Hirai River joins the Tama River within Akiruno.

A large grove of trees stands beside the bridge, and a line of hills rises on the horizon beyond the river. A light blue steel truss bridge and a building beside a water tower show in the distance, while a white guardrail runs along the levee road on the left and shrubs overgrow the bank on the right.
