Bagno Milano, Marina di Massa Live Cam

Bagno Milano is one of the bathing establishments lining the sand at Marina di Massa, on the Tuscan coast of Italy. Rented umbrellas stand in ranks across the camera picture, with a rock breakwater beyond them.

The coast here has been a holiday shore since the late nineteenth century, and the beach is divided almost end to end into private concessions with their own names, cabins and colours. Free sand between them is scarce.

Behind the resort the Apuan Alps rise steeply, their upper slopes white not with snow but with marble. The quarries above Carrara, a few kilometres up the coast, have been worked since Roman times and are visible from the beach on a clear day.
