Malanotte Ski School Area, Frabosa Soprana Live Cam

A fixed camera on a roof in Frabosa Nuova looks up the Malanotte ski school slope, with a chairlift line climbing the hill behind it. The viewpoint stands at about 980 metres, with Monte Moro rising beyond the slope.

Frabosa Soprana is a comune in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont, at the first foothills of the Maritime Alps. Frabosa Nuova is the small hamlet at the foot of this slope. A ski school office, an easy piste and a magic carpet lift lie within a few hundred metres of the camera, and a children's playground stands right next to it.

The framing never changes, so the same slope can be compared across seasons. In October the meadow is green, with the chairlift terminal and pylons visible against dark forest. In winter images the slope is covered with snow and fenced with nets, and skiers pass through it.
