Carreley Nordic Area, Bessans Live Cam

This camera looks over the Carreley meadow at Bessans, the main gateway to the village's cross-country ski area in Haute-Maurienne. The wide flat ground is crossed by a paved path and framed by larch and pine slopes and rocky mountain ridges.

Bessans is a village in Savoie, in the upper Arc valley at about 1,700 metres, on the road towards the Col de l'Iseran. The Carreley sports area at Les Conchettes is the entrance to its nordic domain. The network offers more than 120 kilometres of trails and includes an international biathlon stadium with 30 targets.

The camera turns between several views. It shows the open meadow with the sunlit ridges above the valley, the access road with the corner of a car park, a pasture with a small barn, and a path marked by two wooden signposts below a steep wooded slope.
