Western Wall Tunnel, Jerusalem Live Cam

The one indoor camera among the Western Wall feeds: it watches the covered prayer hall built beneath Wilson's Arch. A brass lamp hangs on a long chain in the middle of the frame.

Below it are a wooden lectern stacked with books, plastic chairs pulled into loose rows, and a gilded ark at the left edge. The hall adjoins the buried courses of the wall, which continue underground far beyond what is visible outside, and it is used continuously rather than at set hours.

Because it is roofed and lit, this camera gives the same picture at three in the morning as at noon — usually with somebody reading in it. That makes it the most reliable of the Jerusalem feeds when the outdoor ones go dark or wash out in glare.
