Weather and time
This camera overlooks the south jetty at the harbour entrance of Fécamp, on the Normandy coast of France. Its view moves between the jetty with two lighthouses, the shingle beach and the marina below the town.
Fécamp is a port town on the Alabaster Coast, built in a gap between white chalk cliffs. A long shingle beach runs along the seafront, and the cliff headland of Cap Fagnet rises beside the harbour entrance.
Facing north-west, the camera shows the stone jetty with a short light tower at its end, a wooden trestle beside it and, across the channel, the red-topped lighthouse of the north jetty. Turned the other way, it shows the marina with boats on pontoons and the town climbing a hillside to a church spire. A third view follows the seafront road along the beach.
