Jardins du Casino, Cabourg Live Cam

This camera overlooks the Jardins du Casino in Cabourg, the public lawns at the heart of the Normandy seaside resort. The Grand Hôtel and the casino stand across the gardens.

Cabourg lies in Calvados on the Côte Fleurie, and its streets fan out from the seafront around these gardens. The Grand Hôtel on the Promenade Marcel Proust is tied to the writer, who spent summers in the town and drew on it for the fictional resort of Balbec. Ornate villas with towers and half-timbered gables line the roads that curve around the lawns.

The camera is fixed and shows a wide panorama from the southern edge of the gardens, looking north across flower beds and lawns to the hotel and the casino beside it. The roads sweep past on both sides of the view. After dark the facades are floodlit and the name of the hotel glows above its roofline.
