Zinneckerovy Boudy, Černá Hora Live Cam

This camera looks out from Zinneckerovy boudy, a group of mountain chalets high on Černá hora in the Krkonoše mountains. Dark metal roofs fill the foreground, and a grassy glade with a small chalet opens between dense spruce forest.

Černá hora rises above Janské Lázně in the Hradec Králové Region and belongs to the Černá hora – Pec ski area that reaches over to Pec pod Sněžkou. The Černohorský Express gondola climbs here from Janské Lázně, and the chalets lie within about a kilometre of its upper station. From this height the mountain falls away into a patchwork of fields and villages.

The camera is mounted above the roofs and does not move, so the glade, the small chalet and the wall of spruce stay constant. On clear days the view reaches far across the foothills to the lowlands beyond the mountains.
