Weather and time
This camera looks into the peregrine falcon nest box on the Brandywine Building in Wilmington, Delaware, with its green ledge on the right. Gravel and twigs cover the floor, and a large modern building complex stands beyond the ledge.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service installed the box on the 19th floor of this downtown tower in 1992. Falcons first tried to nest in it in 1998 and have raised young here since 2002. A camera inside the box followed in 2010.
Mounted in one corner, the camera shows the back wall with its round openings on the left and the ledge stretching to the right, wide enough for an adult falcon to rest on. The second nest box camera watches from the opposite corner, with the ledge on the left and a glass office tower behind it.
