Norwest Marine, Connecticut Live Cam

A boatyard at Pawcatuck sits on the river that divides Connecticut from Rhode Island, in New England in the United States. The webcam looks over the docks and the moored boats.

The state line runs down the middle of this water. Pawcatuck is on the Connecticut bank and Westerly on the Rhode Island one, and the two are effectively a single town split by a bridge and two sets of laws.

Westerly granite was quarried a couple of kilometres away and shipped out for monuments across the country; the fine-grained blue stone took carving well enough that a good part of the civil war memorials in the United States are cut from it.
