Ocean City Beach & Surf Cam Live

The boardwalk at Ocean City runs behind the beach on the New Jersey shore, and the camera looks along it from a surf shop. The ocean is on the other side of the rail.

The town has been dry since it was founded. Methodist ministers laid it out in 1879 as a Christian seaside resort and wrote the ban on alcohol into it, and no bar or liquor store has opened here since.

The boardwalk is about four kilometres long, with amusement piers, arcades and food stands along it, and it is rebuilt in sections after most bad winters. The surf shop providing the feed has been teaching people to surf off this beach for more than twenty-five years.
