The wheel on the right belongs to Wonderland Pier, the amusement pier that has stood at Sixth Street since 1929. The boards themselves date from 1902 and run for about two and a half miles along the front.

The town occupies a barrier island between the Atlantic and Great Egg Harbor Bay, and its beach is rebuilt with pumped sand after the winter storms take it. The live view covers the northern half of that shoreline in one sweep.
