Weather and time
The High Line Train Station in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, looks out over Norfolk Southern tracks running east into a line of trees. Beyond the black iron fence lie a small road, a brick building and green fields.
The depot was built in 1909 and is now managed by the Greencastle Area Youth Foundation. It stands about six miles north of the Maryland line on the Lurgan Branch, a Norfolk Southern freight route of the Harrisburg Division that runs between Lees Cross Roads, Pennsylvania, and Hagerstown, Maryland. The line follows the old Cumberland Valley Railroad route through town.
This fixed camera faces east, toward Harrisburg. Small flags are fixed along the fence on the right-hand side of the track, tall trees and flowering shrubs close in the foreground, and a church steeple and a car park appear on the left in the distance.
