Fanchuanbi Grassland, Green Island Live Cam

This camera looks out from Fanchuanbi Grassland, a grassy headland on the southeast coast of Green Island in Taitung County, Taiwan. Its view moves between Zhaori Hot Spring below the headland, the open meadow with a wooden viewing deck and the rocky shore.

Fanchuanbi is a flat grass plateau at the southeastern corner of Green Island, nicknamed the Green Island carpet. Zhaori Hot Spring, a rare seawater hot spring in the intertidal reef, lies directly below the cliff edge. In clear weather Orchid Island can be seen to the south.

Facing north, the camera looks down on the stone buildings and pools of the hot spring, with the coast road running past a steep green hill toward the cliffs of Haishenping. Turned seaward, it shows the wooden deck at the edge of the grass, surf breaking along the reef flat and rocky islets off a distant headland.
