Liyu Mountain Park, Taitung Live Cam

This camera looks out from Liyu Mountain Park across the city of Taitung toward the Pacific coastline. Its views take in an athletics stadium, a red-roofed arena and the low-rise streets beside the hill.

Liyu, or Carp Mountain, is a small wooded hill of about 75 metres in the middle of Taitung City, the seat of Taitung County. A footpath of roughly 1.7 kilometres circles the hill, and its lookout platforms are named for the carp's head, back and tail.

The camera does not stay on one scene. Daytime frames show a close look at a running track and school buildings, a wider panorama of rooftops with the shoreline on the horizon, and a view past the red dome over the treetops of the hill.
