Sabie River, Skukuza Live Cam

This camera overlooks a stretch of the Sabie River near Skukuza in Kruger National Park, where shallow channels wind between reed beds. Rock islands and green banks lead toward bush on the horizon.

The Sabie River is one of the main rivers of the southern Kruger National Park and flows through Mpumalanga toward the east. Skukuza Rest Camp lies on its banks, and the Kruger Shalati hotel stands on the old Selati railway bridge across the same river. Rocks, sandbanks and reeds break up the water here, so the channel looks different from one bend to the next.

The view looks along the river from above, with mid-channel rocks and sandbanks in the centre and thick reeds on both banks. The light and the surface of the water differ between frames taken at different times of day.
