Moara Vlasiei 2, Ilfov Live Cam

Moara Vlăsiei is a fishing lake in the flat country north of Bucharest, in the county of Ilfov in Romania. The webcam looks across the water at the pontoons and the pegs.

Lakes like this one are dug or dammed and stocked, and anglers pay by the day; carp fishing of this kind is a large business around the Romanian capital, and most of the ponds in the belt north of the city are run this way.

The village next to it has the only cricket ground in the country, laid out by expatriates and used by the national side. The Snagov forest, one of the last pieces of the old Vlăsia woodland the area is named after, is a few kilometres north.
