Fuji Motosuko Resort, Japan Live Cam

Mount Fuji stands over the moss phlox fields of Fuji Motosuko Resort in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. The camera looks north across the flowerbeds, with visitors walking the paths between them and the tree line behind.

The resort sits near Lake Motosu, one of the Fuji Five Lakes at the foot of the mountain, and the fields are planted with shibazakura that flower from late April into May. During the festival weeks the paths fill with people and stalls selling local food and potted plants stand along the edge of the site.

Outside the flowering season the beds are plain green and the frame is mostly mountain and forest. Fuji itself is often covered by cloud from midday onwards, so the clearest views come early in the morning.
