Kawaguchiko Bridge and Mount Fuji, Fujikawaguchiko Live Cam

This fixed camera on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchiko looks across the water to Mount Fuji and Kawaguchiko Bridge. White and yellow swan-shaped pedal boats are moored at a floating pier in the lower left corner.

Lake Kawaguchiko is one of the Fuji Five Lakes in Yamanashi Prefecture, and the lake and the mountain lie inside Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. The camera stands in the Kawaguchi district, about 18 kilometres north of the summit. Kawaguchiko Bridge crosses the narrow part of the lake and carries Prefectural Route 707 toward the southern shore.

The wide frame holds the whole cone of Fuji together with the bridge and the far shore, while the pier and the reeds mark the near bank. After dark the lights along the opposite shore remain visible above their reflections.
