Bucur Fountain, Unirii Square Live Cam

Unirii Square in central Bucharest lies below this webcam, with the line of fountains running along the boulevard. Traffic circles the Bucur Fountain in the middle, and apartment blocks from the 1980s close both sides of Unirii Boulevard.

The fountains were rebuilt in 2018 and now run as a single set along the axis that leads towards the Palace of the Parliament, whose bulk stands at the far end of the boulevard out of frame. The square is one of the main road junctions in the city and sits above a metro interchange.

Multimedia shows are staged at the fountains on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings in the warm months. The basins are drained for winter, and the trees of the park in the corner of the frame turn through autumn.
