Targul de Crăciun Mioveni Live Cam

Mioveni's centre is a wide junction on Bulevardul Dacia, filled through December with the stalls of the Christmas market. The webcam looks over the square and the traffic from one side.

The boulevard is not named at random. The Dacia car plant opened here in 1968 building a licensed Renault, was bought outright by Renault in 1999 and now turns out the Duster and the Sandero; it is the largest exporter in Romania and the reason a town of 32,000 has this much road.

The Orthodox cathedral nearby was consecrated in 2012 after twenty years of building and is the biggest church in Argeș county. Pitești, the county seat, lies fifteen kilometres to the south.
