Unirii Square, Cluj-Napoca Live Cam

This live HD webcam looks out over Union Square, or Piața Unirii, a historic square in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It is one of the country's largest squares, measuring 220 by 160 metres. On the left stands the Gothic Roman Catholic St. Michael's Church, the second largest in Transylvania, whose 76-metre tower is the tallest in the region.

In the centre is a large equestrian monument to King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary, with warrior statues on both sides. The sculpture was built in 1902 and is listed on Romania's National Register of Historic Monuments. The square sits in the historic city centre, surrounded by buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries in Baroque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Neoclassical styles.
