Portinho da Arrábida, Setúbal Live Cam

Praia da Figueirinha runs below the limestone wall of the Serra da Arrábida, on the Setúbal coast of Portugal. A single beach bar stands on the sand at the foot of the cliff.

The camera turns along the shoreline and takes in the coves of Portinho da Arrábida, Praia do Creiro and Monte Branco in turn, together with the small pier at Portinho. The stream is hosted by a restaurant above the beach.

The ridge behind is a natural park, its limestone covered in Mediterranean scrub down to the waterline. Across the water stand the towers of the Tróia resort on the sandspit, and the Sado estuary behind them holds a resident population of bottlenose dolphins.
