Taxiways and the single runway of Lisbon Airport fill this view from the eastern side of the field, in Portugal. Aircraft roll past the lens towards the holding point, with the hills north of the city behind them.

Humberto Delgado Airport lies inside the built-up area, seven kilometres from the centre, and handles almost all of the country's long-haul traffic on one runway. TAP is based here, so its aircraft dominate the movements, alongside charter and low-cost operators.

The stream is produced by Aviação TV, and the camera pans and zooms to follow departures and landings rather than holding a fixed frame. Wet weather makes the picture more interesting: spray comes off the tyres and the reflections mark out the whole taxiway.
