Playa Los Cristianos, Tenerife Live Cam

Playa de Los Cristianos runs across this webcam view, on the southern coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Graded sand fills the foreground, and the harbour with a moored sailing replica closes the far end of the bay.

The beach is sheltered by the harbour wall, so the water stays flat and it is used for swimming rather than surfing. The port beside it runs the ferries to La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro, and the promenade behind the sand carries the cafés and the rental stands.

The sand is graded flat early each morning, which is when the tyre tracks in the frame appear. The season here runs all year, with northern European visitors heaviest in winter.
