Kaap Noord Beach, Texel Live Cam

This beach camera at Kaap Noord on the northern tip of Texel looks over sand, dune grass and open water toward the horizon. It stands by the beach pavilion at Paal 33, near the village of De Cocksdorp.

Kaap Noord is the northernmost beach access on Texel, where the Wadden Sea and the North Sea meet. The neighbouring island of Vlieland lies a few kilometres to the north-east across the water, and the Eierland lighthouse stands among the dunes a little way inland.

The camera does not keep one view. Frames from different times of day show it turned toward a wooden sign on the dune, toward a rope fence with folded parasols at the top of the beach, and toward open dune grass with only sea and sky beyond. After dark the image turns grey.
