Yaji River at Shin-Asahi Bridge, Hino Live Cam

This camera overlooks the Yaji River at Shin-Asahi Bridge in Sakaemachi, Hino, where a gravel bar and reed beds line a shallow stream. A tall weathered concrete wall rises on the far bank, with a railed car park above it.

The bridge stands in the Sakaemachi 5-chome area of Hino, a district of housing and sports grounds. Tokoji Ground lies about 250 m away and Haniwa Park about 300 m. The Yaji River rises in Kamitobuki in Hachioji and flows through Hino to join the Tama River.

A bridge deck painted light blue enters the frame at the upper left, and a white railing runs along the top of the far wall. Reeds crowd the middle of the channel, and ferns, a black fence and a white guardrail fill the near bank at the bottom. The stained wall face with its drainage holes makes this view easy to recognise.
