Weather and time
This camera overlooks the Zanbori River at Ikeue in Izumi-cho, Tachikawa, Tokyo, from a paved path on the left bank. A narrow, pale low-flow channel winds through the grass at the bottom of the slope.
The station is in the north-western part of Tachikawa, and Showa Kinen Park is about a kilometre away. Higashi-Nakagami and Musashi-Sunagawa stations are both a longer walk. The Zanbori rises at Sayama Pond in Mizuho and often runs dry between rains, so the stream here is thin.
The opposite bank is a tall dark concrete-block wall hung with ivy and vines, with a railing along its top and tall pines and broadleaf trees behind. On the left a black mesh gate and an orange cone mark the access path, and a faint white pole leans against the wall. Compared with the neighbouring stations, this stretch feels wooded and enclosed.
