Weather and time
This camera overlooks the Karabori River at Shinyakushi Bridge in Chuo, Musashimurayama, where a narrow channel curves along a stone-block slope. The slope on the right carries a water-level gauge, while a grassy bank and a footpath run along the left side.
The station is in Chuo 3-chome, close to the centre of Musashimurayama. Musashimurayama City Hall stands about 300 m to the west, and Hiyoshi Shrine about 270 m to the north-west. The Ome Kaido road crosses the river only a few dozen metres away, and the stream flows on east toward the Yanase River.
The camera looks down the curving channel from the bank, so the sloped wall of diamond-patterned concrete blocks runs across the right half of the frame. Teal mesh fences line both banks, and tufts of grass grow along the edge of the water.
