Weather and time

This camera watches the Zanbori River at Omote Bridge in the Tonogaya district of Mizuho, Tokyo, where a concrete road bridge spans the channel. The banks are walled with concrete and stone blocks, and a wide mown grass terrace lies on the right.

The station is in Tonogaya, a mixed district of housing and roadside shops in the town of Mizuho. Sekirei Park is about 230 m away. Mizuho is where the Zanbori River begins its course of roughly 14 km to the Tama River in Tachikawa, so this is one of the upper stations.

The camera looks across the channel from above the left bank. A black railing follows the edge of the grass terrace, and a stairway climbs the retaining wall behind it. Only a small pool of water reflecting the sky is visible at the left, while reeds and low shrubs fill the middle of the bed.
