Weather and time

This camera watches the Narahashi River at Murayama Bridge in Zoshiki, Higashiyamato, where a narrow concrete channel runs toward a culvert. Teal mesh fences line both sides, and a footpath follows the left bank beside a large tree.

The station is in Zoshiki 2-chome in the north of Higashiyamato, and the main Ome Kaido road passes within a few metres of this point. Higashiyamato City Local Museum stands about 200 m to the north-east, and Narahashi Kita Park about 350 m in the same direction. The Narahashi River is a short tributary of the Karabori River, only about 3 km long.

The view looks straight down the channel from the bank, so the walls narrow toward the dark mouth of the culvert at the far end. The left wall is plain concrete and the right one is faced with patterned blocks, and the shallow bed lies well below the footpath.
