This camera looks down the Yanase River from Akitsu Bridge in Akitsucho, Higashimurayama, Tokyo, over a curving stream between concrete banks. A turquoise bridge railing runs across the foreground, with houses and trees above the walls.

Akitsucho is a residential district in the north of Higashimurayama, in western Tokyo. A Seibu training centre for railway staff stands about 150 m to the northeast, and Hikawa Shrine about 250 m to the east. Yanagise Bridge spans the river some 200 m to the southwest. The Yanase River rises in the Sayama Hills on the Tokyo and Saitama border.
