Weather and time
This camera looks down on the south exit of Toyama Station, with its bus rotary and the glass-fronted station building across the street. A curved canopy shelters the bus bays, and trams pass along the road in the foreground.
Toyama is the capital of Toyama Prefecture, on the Sea of Japan coast of central Honshu. The station serves the Hokuriku Shinkansen and regional rail lines, and a tram stop built into the station building links the city tram network with the trains. The south side faces the city centre, its shopping streets and the castle park.
The view is fixed and looks north from a raised position above the street south of the plaza. Numbered bus bays sit under the canopy, tram tracks run along the road at the bottom of the frame, and taller buildings on the north side of the station rise behind its roof.
