JR Chuo Main Line, Fuefuki Live Cam

A local train on the JR Chuo Main Line passes the Tokujo level crossing at Fuefuki, in Yamanashi Prefecture. The section in view lies between Kasugaicho and Isawa-Onsen stations, on the main Japanese island of Honshu.

The Chuo Main Line links Tokyo with Nagoya through the mountains, and this stretch carries local services, limited expresses towards Kofu and Matsumoto, and freight. Japan Standard Time is displayed in the corner of the image.

Fuefuki is known for its hot springs and for fruit growing, with peach and grape orchards covering the basin floor around the line. Trains pass every few minutes through the day, which makes the crossing a steady subject for the webcam.
