Hidaka River at Chidori Bridge, Hidakagawa Live Cam

This camera looks upstream from the right bank of the Hidaka River just below Chidori Bridge in Hidakagawa, Wakayama Prefecture. A red steel girder bridge crosses the river behind a dense thicket of riverside greenery.

Chidori Bridge links the Hyugawa district on the north bank with the settlement of Miyose on the south side, in a wide bend of the Hidaka. Wooded hills close in on both sides of the valley. A main road follows the north bank, and houses stand on the flats beside the river.

The view is fixed. Thick foliage fills the foreground, the bridge rises from a pier in the water, a white building sits at its far end, and a pale gravel bar edges the water on the right, with hazy hills and a bare cut slope beyond.
