Berlin Cathedral Live Cam

A broadcaster's camera on Museum Island, with the green dome of the Berlin Cathedral on the right and Unter den Linden running west into the distance. It is mounted high enough to clear the whole quarter.

The domed block on the left is the rebuilt palace that now houses the Humboldt Forum; between them the boulevard heads for the Tiergarten, its trees forming the dark band across the middle of the frame. On the horizon the city flattens out into cranes, office slabs and, on clear days, hills beyond the suburbs.

This is the widest of the Berlin feeds and the one that shows the historic centre as a whole. Both domes are floodlit after dark, and the boulevard between them stays lit all night, so the composition survives long after the daylight cameras have gone flat.
