Lake Tegel, Berlin Live Cam

The Tegel sailing club's camera prints its own weather along the bottom of the picture: temperature, wind and pressure. The water temperature is the number that matters here.

The view is over the club's harbour — pontoons, moored yachts, a dinghy park and a flagpole in the middle of the frame — out to the wooded far shore of the lake. A boathouse roof takes up the bottom right corner.

The water temperature reading is the useful part: it is the number swimmers and sailors actually check before setting off. Of the two lake cameras in Berlin this is the instrumented one; the Müggelsee feed on the far side of the city has the view but no data.
