Oberbaumbrücke, Berlin Live Cam

Almost at water level, this camera looks up the Spree at the Oberbaumbrücke and the two brick towers in the middle of it. Water takes up the bottom third of the picture.

The television tower on Alexanderplatz shows through the arches on the left, elevated trains cross the bridge's upper deck, and a tour boat is usually moored at the quay on the right. Behind it stand the office buildings of the Mediaspree development, with a patterned glass facade catching the light.

The bridge was a border crossing until 1989 and now links Kreuzberg to Friedrichshain, which is why so much of the city's river traffic passes under it. Sunset is directly behind the towers from this angle.
