Village Centre, Villard-de-Lans Live Cam

This camera looks over the village centre of Villard-de-Lans in the Vercors, where a bear statue stands on a paved square. Across the road, a tobacconist and a newsagent open onto the pavement, and the camera also turns towards the rooftops and wooded slopes around the village.

Villard-de-Lans is a mountain village at about 1,000 metres in the Vercors massif, in the Isère department, and the bear is its emblem. The village shares a ski area with neighbouring Corrençon-en-Vercors and lies inside the Vercors Regional Natural Park.

The view is not fixed. Besides the square with its curved stone structure and yellow road markings, other positions show a slate-roofed building against a forested hillside, and a street of chimneys and balconies with a slender spire beyond.
