Weather and time
This camera watches the lower slopes of Gresse-en-Vercors, with lift pylons running up a grassy hillside above the valley floor. Turning, it also shows the access road, a car park and chalet-style buildings at the foot of the slopes, with forested mountains behind.
Gresse-en-Vercors is a village in the Isère department on the eastern edge of the Vercors massif, and its ski station stands at about 1,250 metres. The resort lies under the Grand Veymont, the highest summit of the Vercors, and its alpine ski area is served by a chairlift and several surface lifts.
The angle changes between positions. One view looks straight along a lift line on the open slope, another runs across the road and parking area lined with trees, and a wider one reaches up the wooded valley towards the ridges at its head.
