Klimno port, Croatia Live Cam

Klimno sits on a shallow bay on the eastern side of the island of Krk, where the water warms early and the tide uncovers mud. The webcam looks along the waterfront road and the moorings.

The mud in Soline bay next door has been used as a treatment for a very long time and people still come to sit in it. The water there is barely a metre deep over a wide area, so it runs several degrees warmer than the open channel.

Across the water is the mainland coast at Crikvenica, close enough to pick out individual houses. Klimno is a village of a few hundred people that fills up between May and October and empties again for the winter.
