Šilo marina, Croatia Live Cam

Šilo faces the mainland across a narrow channel at the north-eastern corner of the island of Krk, in Croatia. The webcam looks over the marina and the moored boats to the far shore.

A passenger boat crosses from this quay to Crikvenica in about twenty minutes, which is a good deal quicker than driving round by the bridge at the top of the island.

The coves either side of the village have sand and shallow water, unusual on an island that is mostly rock, and the shore path runs past several of them. The bare limestone on the slopes behind is the result of centuries of grazing and the wind that follows the winter.
