Krnicki Porat, Croatia Live Cam

The fishing harbour at Krnica lies below this webcam, on the eastern coast of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia. Working boats and small yachts lie at the pontoons below the lens, and wooded slopes come down to the water on both sides.

Krnički Porat is the port of the village of Krnica, tucked into a narrow inlet about twenty kilometres from Pula. It is a working harbour rather than a resort marina: the fishing fleet shares it with visiting boats, and divers use it for the wrecks and reefs off this coast.

The bay is sheltered enough that the water stays flat when the open Adriatic is not. In winter the bora blows down from the north and the pontoons empty out.
