Winona Lake, Indiana Live Cam

Winona Lake lies in the lake country of northern Indiana, with a village of shops and old cottages along one shore. The webcam looks out over the water from the village.

This was a Chautauqua: a summer colony of lectures, concerts and religious meetings that drew tens of thousands a year from the 1890s. The auditorium, the cottages and the boat landing all date from it.

Billy Sunday, a baseball player turned revivalist who filled tabernacles across the country before the first world war, lived on the lake for thirty years, and his house is kept as a museum. The village around it has been restored as workshops and cafes.
