Port d'Yvonand, Lake Neuchâtel Live Cam

This webcam looks over the Port d'Yvonand marina on the southwestern shore of Lake Neuchâtel in Switzerland. Sailboats and motorboats lie moored in the harbour basin beside a long wooden pontoon.

Yvonand is a municipality in the Jura-Nord Vaudois district of the canton of Vaud, known for the sandy beaches that slope gently into the lake. Lake Neuchâtel is the largest lake lying entirely within Switzerland, and its southern shore is dotted with small harbours like this one. The basin is sheltered by a stone breakwater that closes it off from the open water.

The camera is fixed and set high beside a flagpole and the corner of a building, so the pontoon runs through the foreground while buoys and boats fill the middle of the view. On clear days the far shore and hills appear above the breakwater, and lights along the harbour stay visible after dark.
